With more than 20 years of experience behind the casting monitor, I have built my career around understanding what makes talent stand out. As a casting director and performance strategist, I bridge the gap between raw talent and industry standards, helping artists and high-level professionals develop the technical precision, confidence, and presence needed to command the lens.
My career began in production, where I learned from the inside how sets operate, how creative decisions are made, and how talent connects with the real needs of a production. That experience shaped the way I understand casting and became one of the foundations of my methodology.
The journey
Built from the ground up.
In 2010, I officially entered the casting world. I didn’t skip a single step. I built my expertise from the ground up, starting as an assistant and learning every part of the process before growing into a lead casting director.
By 2019, after nearly a decade of rigorous experience, I took the helm of my first official casting project for one of Colombia’s leading channels. Since then, I have worked at the intersection of two demanding markets, maintaining a presence between Bogotá and New York and staying connected to the evolving world of international production.
The casting method
After 15 years of refining my eye and learning what separates the good from the unforgettable, I realized my knowledge was too valuable to remain behind a casting monitor.
This year, I formalized that experience into The Casting Method — a practical approach designed to help actors and professionals understand the lens, build confidence, and communicate with greater clarity and authority.
